THE RIGHT BOARD FOR THE RIGHT TIME

June 9-11, 2027 | Washington, D.C.

The only national conference focused on private company governance from both the owner and director perspectives.

Private company boards are being asked to do more, and to change faster than ever before. At The Private Company Governance Summit 2027 (PCGS), we'll explore what it takes to build the adaptable board: one with the structure, talent and agility to handle whatever comes next, whether that's a new technology, a leadership transition, a shift in ownership or a crisis no one saw coming. From launching your first board to strengthening one that has been in place for years, this year's program offers practical tools, candid perspectives and peer connections to help your board evolve with your company.

Over 2.5 days, leading directors, owners, executives and governance experts will take on the questions private company boards face right now: who belongs at the table as AI and geopolitical uncertainty reshape the landscape, how to respond in the critical first 72 hours of a crisis and how to turn board evaluations into real change. Sessions on ESOPs, governing the nonfamily private company, D&O insurance, committee structure and executive compensation offer ready-to-use guidance for boards at every stage.

Join us to learn how to build a board that adapts, so your company can grow consistently, protect what matters most and thrive in any environment.

 SESSIONS INCLUDE:

  • Building the Board You Need for Tomorrow
  • Crisis Management: The Board’s Role When Things Go Wrong

Many full boards attend PCGS to advance their learning and perspectives, and there are special rates for them.
